Theme: Sequence

Moylan School’s Unified Arts Team worked together on the Interactive Arts for Total Literacy Program. This program explores themes and concepts through books, music, the visual arts and movement. The purpose of this program is to strengthen each student’s comprehension on a focused theme and guide them to make connections in the arts as well as the world around them. Our goal for this year was to teach 2nd Graders at Moylan School the concept of Sequencing.

Sequence is all around us, all of the time. It is simply the order of events in which something happens. It may be something as simple as getting ready for school in the morning, doing your homework, or the events in a story book. It may also be something more complex, such as growing a garden or building a tree house. No matter what the event, there is a sequence or order in which things happen. We hope you enjoy this information on our Sequencing Unit.
